Police arrested a wanted person after swooping on a vehicle in Burnham-On-Sea on Wednesday afternoon (January 3rd).
Five Police vehicles were seen in Love Lane, as pictured here, before a man was arrested and taken away.
An Avon and Somerset Police spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “Officers arrested a wanted man and seized a vehicle in Love Lane, Burnham-On-Sea, just before 2pm on Wednesday 3rd January.”
The spokesperson added that “a man remains in police custody” following the incident.
A nearby resident told us: “It was a dramatic scene. Five Police vehicles, including several unmarked Police cars, arrived near the Love Lane commercial units and a man was seen being taken into a Police van by officers. A recovery truck later arrived to take away the seized vehicle.”
