Pirate Fun Day to be held on Burnham-On-Sea beach today

A free pirate-themed family fun day is to be held on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Sunday (August 3rd).

The family event is to be held on the town’s beach next to The Pavillion and at the nearby Marine Cove gardens on the seafront.

A number of activities are being lined up, including pirate-themed games, fun workshops for children on how to become a pirate, water games and more.

A Pirate School will be held at 11am in the Marine Cove gardens where youngsters can learn the skills needed to become a fully qualified and certificated pirate!

And a ‘pirate battle’ on the beach will then be held at 2.30pm next to the Pavilion with all families and youngsters welcome. Mo the Bubble Man will also be in attendance to entertain children.
