Police are investigating an overnight break‑in at the One Stop store in Market Street, Highbridge after officers were called to the scene in the early hours of Monday (24th August).
A spokesman for Avon and Somerset Police says they were alerted at 2.22am to a burglary in progress at the convenience store.
“Windows at the store were damaged during the incident,” says the spokesman.
“Officers attended and carried out a search of the surrounding area, but the suspects could not be located.”
“An investigation is underway and we’d ask anyone with information or relevant footage to contact us.”
