Police release images of suspected stolen jewellery in bid to trace owners

-

Police have released images of several pieces of jewellery believed to have been stolen during burglaries across the South West, in a bid to reunite them with their rightful owners.

Detectives recovered the items as part of ongoing investigations into burglaries in both the Avon and Somerset and Devon and Cornwall policing areas.

The collection includes bracelets, necklaces and pendants, some of which were found with significant fire damage. Officers say that despite the condition of some pieces, they are keen to identify who they belong to.

A spokesperson said the items may have “sentimental or financial value” and urged anyone who recognises them to get in touch.

“If you think any of the items pictured are yours, please call 101 and quote reference 5226014936,” they added.

Police hope the release of the images will help return the jewellery to victims and support their wider burglary investigations.
