More than 1,000 homes in Burnham-On-Sea and Berrow were without power on Monday,
Western Power Distribution said a total of 1,098 homes in the Burnham area were without electricity following an issue.
All the homes affected were in the TA8 2, TA9 4 and TA8 5 postcode areas.
The firm apologised for the inconvenience and disruption and is investigating the cause.
