A power cut has left over 230 homes in Burnham-On-Sea without electricity today (Tuesday).

Western Power Distribution says power supplies were cut just after 10.35am in parts of Burnham and Berrow.

A spokesman for Western Power Distribution told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We have 231 homes without power due to a high voltage issue.”

“We had staff on scene investigating the fault.”

Supplies are scheduled to be restored by around 3.30pm.
