A futuristic set of images released on Monday (February 25th) show how the town centre could look in a few years’ time if multi-million pound regeneration plans get the go-ahead.

The photo-montages, which are published here for the first time, show how the High Street (above) and Victoria Street (below) will look if the ‘Civic Pride’ project to modernise and pedestrianise Burnham get a green light.

As we reported last week, Sedgemoor’s Executive Committee approved the designs for the scheme last week and the project team now wants feedback from the public. The plans will go on show to the public at an exhibition in Burnham Library during March when the designs will be on show. The plans will be on display on Thursday 6th March from 10am to 5.30pm, Friday 7th March from 9.30am to 7.30pm and Saturday 8th March from 9.30am to 12.30pm.
