Burnham-On-Sea massage therapist launches new local business

-

A Burnham-On-Sea resident has launched a new massage business for the area.

Richard Curtis, who is a qualified and insured massage therapist, has launched Cardea Massage Therapy, based at The Webbington Hotel.

He specialises in sports massage, deep tissue massage and neuromuscular massage therapy (also called ‘trigger point therapy’).

“I have been getting some wonderful results, including one man who has had a bad back for 35 years and tried various treatments but has had two massages and has cured his problems,” he says.

“Another guy who suffered from sciatica for 10 years had one treatment and it was gone.”

“I am available for appointments 4pm-9pm Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, then 12pm-5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Saturday mornings 9am-1pm.”

“In my youth I was fortunate enough to be on the English Karate Association national squad where we were shown how to do deep tissue massage to relieve aching muscles after a tough training session. That started my interest in massage which I have been practising ever since.”

“I am a fully qualified and insured massage therapist. I look forward to serving your needs whether it be relaxation, de stressing or muscular issues.”

Richard’s customers get free use of the hotel’s sauna and steam room. More details here.
