Police, ambulance and fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea were called to a crash in the village of Rooksbridge on Monday afternoon (March 7th).

The three-car collision took place outside the Wellington Arms pub in the village shortly before 2.15pm, causing long delays to motorists, as pictured here.

The fire service sent two appliances from Burnham-On-Sea together with a rescue tender from Taunton to make the vehicles safe.

A spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com that a female occupant of one of the vehicles suffered a suspected broken wrist or arm in the accident and received treatment from ambulance crews at the scene.
