A big Burnham-On-Sea crowd braved bitter northerly winds at the town’s BASC Ground to watch a top class game of rugby at the weekend.
Somerset Under 20s played against a big pack from Devon at the Burnham ground in a keenly-contested match.
“From the start both teams were fairly well matched,” says the Burnham club’s Sally Flack.
“The Devon team were first to put points on the board with the Somerset boys quickly following.”
“The game see-sawed between the two teams, with neither being able to get one over the other and ended it up with a 10-10 draw.”
“This was an enjoyable game to watch, appreciated by the large crowd.”
