New Burnham-On-Sea art gallery opens its doors to the public

A new gallery has opened in Burnham-On-Sea, selling a wide range of artwork and gifts from local artists.

Called Sea Breeze, the Victoria Street premises is situated opposite the town’s cinema and is run by Rhonda Mills, pictured, and her husband.

Selling paintings, engravings, photography, jewellery, books and greetings cards, the gallery has already received a good response from customers.

“We’ve had a very busy first few days with a steady trickle of visitors through the door,” said Rhonda.

She added: “Our main concept is to feature work by local exhibitors, so we’re offering a good range of artwork and giftware from many local people.”

The work includes items from local artists Vikki Mills, Tim Duke, engraver Sue Burne, plus author Steve Burnside.
