A Burnham-On-Sea church has been transformed into an indoor beach for youngsters to enjoy seaside activities come rain or shine.

Children are being invited into the town’s Baptist Church to enjoy the indoor beach, which has been especially created for a summer holiday club.

The Seaside Rock club is being held between Monday 7th – Friday 11th August at the College Street church where the Lower Hall has been converted into a seaside paradise with beach huts, surfboards and seagulls!

The club is targeted at children aged 5-11 and is packed full of games, craft, songs, and drama.

“They can also find out about Peter and the adventures he had when he met Jesus down by the seaside, back in the days when he was a fisherman,” one of the organisers told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

The club is completely free, and runs each morning from 10am-12.15pm. Doors open at 9.45am for registration. Parents can book a place for their children by downloading a registration form here or call in to the church to pick up a form.
