Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre helps young children learn about nature

-

Secret World Wildlife Rescue Centre near Burnham-On-Sea is holding a new series of fun sessions aimed at helping 2-4 year old children learn about the natural environment.

The sessions for young children and an accompanied adult are held at Secret World in East Huntspill during school term time on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month, from 10-11.30am.

“Owlets sessions are fun and interactive, and encourage 2-4 year olds to learn about the natural environment through stories, games, outdoor activities, crafts, and play,” says a spokesperson.

“The cost is £6 per child – younger siblings are also welcome free of charge. The ticket price includes a drink, snack, and a hot drink for the adults.”

“Advanced booking is essential to avoid disappointment. All children must be accompanied by an adult.”

“We love going outside in all weathers, so please bring warm and waterproof clothing.”
