Plucky sea swimmers to make a splash for Secret World!

-

Plucky volunteers from Burnham-On-Sea will be braving the waters of the English Channel next Saturday (December 30th) to raise funds for local charity Secret World.

The volunteers will pull on a range of costumes as they perform their annual Christmas sea swim at Lyme Regis.

Secret World fundraiser Debbie O’Keefe said: “This has become an annual event and always attracts many spectators who watch the volunteers brave the icy waters of Lyme Regis.”

“There’s always room for any more who fancy dipping their toes in!”

Secret World are already planning their fundraising calendar for 2007, which includes a Fire and Ice walking event, a tractor pull and a ‘fright night’.

If you would like to join this event or would like further information about any others please contact Debbie or Jamie on 01278 783250.
