Burnham-On-Sea fire crews were called to tackle a blaze at a home in the town on Friday evening (May 8th) involving an electric unit.
Crews were called to Highburn Close around 5pm, pictured here.
A fire service spokesman confirms: “This was a fire involving a solar panels unit. We extinguished it using CO2 and isolated the panels with a PV stop using a turntable ladder from Avon Fire.”
The road was closed near the junction with Marine Drive, as pictured here.
