Burnham-On-Sea doctor takes on running challenge for hospice

-

A Burnham-On-Sea doctor is pulling on his running shoes to raise funds for a local hospice.

Dr Stuart Anderson, a GP at Burnham Medical Centre, is in training to run the Mercury Mendip Challenge on June 1st for Weston Hospicecare.

“I plan to run as much as possible of the 30 miles route from Wells to Weston, although I may walk up some of the steeper hills, of which there are several,” he told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“I have also been making cakes for the staff at the surgery to raise money, and any donations will be gratefully received and passed on to the hospice either via the Burnham and Berrow Surgeries, or directly from my Just Giving page here.”
