A festive evening of candlelit music is set to fill Burnham’s Princess Theatre later this year when the Bristol Ensemble brings its acclaimed seasonal concert, A Nutcracker Christmas by Candlelight, to the town.
Tickets went on sale at 10am this Monday (10th August) for the performance on Friday 11th December 2026 at 7.30pm, with all seats priced at £21.50.
The concert will centre on a specially arranged performance of Tchaikovsky’s much‑loved Nutcracker Suite, whose melodies have become a hallmark of Christmas.
Audiences can expect the graceful Waltz of the Flowers, the sparkling Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy and the exhilarating Trepak, all performed in the warm glow of candlelight to capture the magic and imagination of the season.
Alongside the Nutcracker, the Bristol Ensemble will present a carefully curated programme for string orchestra, blending cherished Christmas favourites with evocative winter‑themed works. Organisers say the evening will offer an intimate atmosphere and exceptional live music celebrating the splendour of Christmas.
