Hundreds of pounds was raised for charity when a Burnham residential home held its annual summer fete on Saturday (June 29th).

Bright sunshine attracted a crowd of visitors to the event at Towans Residential Home in Berrow Road, held in aid of local Rotary charities.

It was opened by Burnham and Highbridge Mayor Cllr Martin Cox and Chloe Edrich, a young pupil from King Alfred School who has made it through to the National Swimming Championships in Sheffield (pictured above with organiser Joanne Bobyer).

“There were many stalls, games and displays for all to enjoy – the great weather brought out the crowds and helped make the day a great success,” Joanne told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
