This was the smouldering remains of a tractor after a blaze in East Huntspill on Thursday evening (November 9th).

The fire service received a call from a member of the public just after 6.15pm reporting a vehicle was on fire in the village.

“One applicance from Burnham-On-Sea and one from Bridgwater were immediately sent to the incident and on arrival the officer in charge confirmed a tractor to be well alight,” a spokesman told Burnham-On-Sea.com.

“Crews extinguished the fire using two breathing apparatus and one compressed air foam jet – the vehicle received 80% damage from fire.”

The incident was left in the hands of the owner for the tractor to be recovered.
