Burnham-On-Sea Police are appealing for witnesses and any footage after a vulnerable man was injured in the town earlier this week.
The incident happened between 11pm and midnight on Tuesday 14th April as the man, in his sixties, was walking home along Berrow Road, between Victoria Street and Trinity Rise.
He told officers that two people on electric bikes pushed him over before immediately riding off.
The resident, Paul Mellor, pictured, suffered head and facial injuries and thankfully was cared for by neighbours and reported what happened to the police on Wednesday morning, 15th April.
Paul suffered seven stitches to his forehead and has a broken thumb. Having also suffered concussion, he has been advised to rest for six weeks.
