West Huntspill Classic and Vintage Vehicles Show set to return this Saturday with 120 vehicles

-

Organisers of the annual West Huntspill Classic and Vintage Vehicles Show say more than 120 exhibits will be on display when the popular event returns on Saturday 12th September.

The show, held annually in the field next to Balliol Hall on Church Road, runs from 11am to 4pm, and will feature a wide range of vehicles including vintage and classic cars, motorcycles, military vehicles, tractors, stationary engines and commercial vehicles.

“Over 120 exhibits are already signed up for the popular village show,” organiser Dave Paul told Burnham‑On‑Sea.com, adding that the team is looking forward to welcoming visitors back.

Alongside the vehicle displays, visitors can enjoy stalls, refreshments, a BBQ and guided tours to the top of the church tower.

The Church of St Peter & All Hallows will be open throughout the day with ice creams for sale, organ recitals and volunteers on hand to share the history of the building.

Children can also take part in the Huntspill Map trail, with knitted mice – each with a Biblical name – hidden around the churchyard.

Entry will be £5 per adult, with children and drivers admitted free. All passengers are £5 per head, and parking is free.

The show raises funds for both the church and Balliol Hall, supported by a team of volunteers who help with setup, refreshments and logistics. Anyone wishing to register a vehicle or find out more can call 07884 111730 or visit theballiolhall.org.uk/car-show.
