The world-famous Red Arrows and other planes will take to local skies this weekend during the annual Weston Air Show.

The event began on Saturday and continues today (Sunday June 24th), featuring a number of famous aviation names.

The Red Arrows will be flying their familiar diamond formation and the show will also feature The Aerosuperbatics Wingwalkers, aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight and finishing with the Typhoon.

The best place to see the action will be Weston itself, but parts of the display will also be visible from Brean Down, weather permitting. Roads and car parks in Brean were busy on Saturday as local people flocked to watch the first day of action.
