The wheel of death is set to return to Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll this month as one of the headline acts in a circus show.

One of the country’s best-known circus troupes, Paulo’s Circus Americano, will be back at the garden centre along with the ‘daredevil’ act from Saturday February 19th until Sunday February 27th.

Peter Burks, General Manager of the garden centre, told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’re particularly excited to learn that one of the most dangerous of all circus acts, the wheel of death is included in the show this year. There are only three acts that can perform this daredevil feat in the UK.”

“This is the sixth year the circus has pitched its big top at the garden centre and it is always a huge hit with people both young and old.”

“As well as the wheel of death people will also be entertained by traditional clowns, acrobats, highwire walkers and aerial silk performers. We are hoping lots of families will take up the opportunity to attend one of these spectacular shows as a half-term treat.”

Tickets for the event can be collected on the day of the performance on a first come, first served basis.

Adult grand stand tickets cost £16. For children and people aged 60 and above, tickets cost £14.

Ring side seats are £14 for adults and £12 for children and people aged 60 and above. Side view tickets are priced at £11 for adults and £9 for children and people aged 60 and above.
