Burnham‑On‑Sea.com readers have the chance to win a family summer day out at Brean’s Unity Splash park as part of a new competition offering free access to the indoor waterpark and a choice of leisure activities.
The prize includes free use of the indoor waterpark for a family of four between 9am and 5pm on any day before September 1st, along with a free session of axe throwing, rifle shooting or archery.
To enter, readers simply need to send an email headed with ‘Unity Splash’ with your name, email address and a phone number by clicking here before 1pm this Friday, August 14th.
A winner will be randomly selected and contacted, and entry details will be passed to Unity Splash, who may get in touch with special offers and promotions. The winner will have until the end of the month to use the prize.
The competition comes as Unity Beach unveils its expanded waterpark and leisure facilities, offering more opportunities for local families to enjoy a day out.
One of the biggest changes is that swimmers no longer need to book the indoor pool, and timed sessions have been removed. Visitors can simply turn up and join one of two queues — one for owners and holidaymakers, and one for the public — making access quicker and easier.
The refurbished 25‑metre indoor pool is open for unlimited swimming, while older children and teens can enjoy two indoor waterslides: the Rainbow Rings, which sends swimmers through colourful hoops of light, and the Disco Slide, where they can choose their own music and sound effects. Younger swimmers have their own indoor splash zone with tipping buckets, spouting chimneys and interactive play areas, plus a selection of smaller slides.
Indoor swimming prices are: free for under‑3s, £10 for ages 4 to 15, and £15 for those aged 16 and over.
Unity Beach also offers a wide range of activities beyond swimming. The recently opened Activity Barn hosts rifle shooting, archery and axe throwing from £10, with mini crossbow sessions available from £5. The Creative Studio allows visitors to design and paint their own pottery, with prices starting at £12, while Sand Art, Messy Play and arts and crafts sessions begin at £5.
For those wanting something more energetic, Disc Golf starts at £5, and Unity Beach has two padel courts available to book from £20 for four people, with padels and balls available for hire.
