Burnham-On-Sea
wind farm plans will be submitted to planners this week

Controversial
plans for a wind farm on the outskirts of Burnham-On-Sea will
be submitted to planners this week.
Jamie
Baldwin from Ecotricity, the company behind the scheme to build
five turbines on land at Edithmead near Brent Knoll, told Burnham-On-Sea.com
on Monday that its proposal "would be sent to Sedgemoor District
Council within the next 48 hours."
The
submission will include detailed information about the proposal
for the site, including more details about the locations of the
five turbines.
The
news follows months of campaigning by the 'kNOll to Wind Farm'
pressure group which is against the scheme. They recently released
several photomontages of the site, one of which is pictured above.
A
pro-wind group, FORCE, has backed Ecotricity's proposals, saying
they are in the best interests of the environment.
