The grand opening of a new cafe on Burnham-On-Sea’s seafront took place on Saturday.
The opening of the new Round Tower Café on the North Esplanade was performed by Burnham’s Mayor, Cllr Bill Hancock, who cut a formal ribbon in front of a group of residents and supporters, as pictured here.
The café, located next to Marine Cove Gardens, offers a wide range of refreshments and light meals – all with views across the estuary.
Owners Stuart and Phoebe Pearce say they take environmental issues seriously, and added: “Wherever possible, the café avoids using single use plastics – more environmental alternatives are used instead. It is hoped that visitors and locals alike will benefit from the new café.”
