Fundraising bikers roar into action for Burnham-On-Sea charity

-

Burnham’s Deputy Mayor and Mayoress officially started a fundraising bike ride in aid of a local charity on Sunday morning (September 20th).

Danny Titcombe and his partner Jo Hughes sounded a horn at the Bristol Bridge Inn to send more than 20 bikers on their way for the 100-mile bike run, as pictured here.

The vehicles roared out of Highbridge before passing Bridgwater, Taunton and Ilminster on their way to Lyme Regis. The event, organised by Somerset Motorcycle Group, raised funds for Burnham-On-Sea rescue charity BARB.

A second, 50-mile bike run will be held next Sunday (September 27th). Open to owners of all bikes above 50CC, the event will have a mystery route. To take part, contact Norman Templeman on 07759 907514.
