A pub near Burnham-On-Sea was presented with a top award from the Campaign for Real Ale on Monday evening (May 14th).
The Crossways in West Huntspill has been named CAMRA’s pub of the season for the quality of its beers and its bar manager, Steve Dean, received the award during a ceremony on Monday night.
Steve told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “We’re delighted with the award – it’s a real honour to be given the award for Somerset Pub of the Season.”
Landlord Shane Wallace added: “We’ve been working hard to ensure that we keep our real ales in top condition and always have six on tap – two are regulars and four are guest ales, mostly from local breweries, and the selection changes every few days.”
