Busy day of Christmas festivities to be held in Burnham and Highbridge

A busy day of Christmas events is being held in Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge this Saturday (November 29th).

Residents in Highbridge will be able to buy Christmas presents and stocking fillers at a craft fair being organised by the town’s Local Action Team at Morland Hall in Pearce Drive, Highbridge from 10.30am. The event will include stalls, refreshments, a raffle and car boot sale.

Burnham-On-Sea’s Methodist Church in College Street is holding a ‘bargain bonanza sale’ on Saturday from 10am-4pm with proceeds going to a school in Kenya. The event includes a fete, stalls, tombola and more.

Burnham-On-Sea’s Christmas lights will be switched on at 5pm on Saturday following an afternoon of musical entertainment which kicks off at 2.30pm outside the Victoria Hotel. Santa is also due to pay a special visit. More here…

A Christmas concert in aid of Children’s Hospice South West will be held at Highbridge Community Hall from 7pm on Sarturday featuring Flutations, a popular flute group. Tickets cost £3.50 and glasses of mulled wine and mince pies will be on offer.
