A capacity audience of more than 300 people filled Burnham-On-Sea’s St Andrew’s Church on Thursday evening (December 15th) for a special festive concert.
Burnham and Highbridge Choral Society’s Christmas concert included a number of traditional festive songs plus modern ones from the pupils from Burnham’s St Andrew’s School.
One of the highlights was the debut performance of a new Christmas carol that has been compiled by choir member Eileen Wedgwood.
“We were delighted that such a large audience came along to enjoy the evening – the concert provided a wonderful mixture of Christmas songs,” a spokeswoman for the society told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
