A new group of Beavers and Cubs in Berrow is set to hold its first open evening tonight (Wednesday) when newcomers are welcome.
The 1st Berrow Scout Group is holding the open evening for children of Beavers age (5¾ – 8) and Cubs age (8-10½).
Youngsters and adults interested in joining are welcome as the new Cub pack and Beaver colony are formed.
“If you or your child would be interested in joining us please come along to Berrow Primary School between 6pm and 7.15pm,” said spokeswoman Lucy Hamilton.
“We are looking for leaders and helpers for Beavers and Cubs but there are various roles available – not all of which are leadership.”
“All training is provided by the Scout Association. Our open evening is an opportunity for children to try out a range of fun activities and to find out more about joining Beavers and Cubs.”
Beavers and Cubs is open to girls as well as boys.
