Burnham-On-Sea lifejacket safety clinic hailed a success

-

Burnham-On-Sea RNLI Lifeboat Sea Safety advisors Dave Humphries and Bob Hitchings held a lifejacket clinic at the town’s Sailing club at the weekend.

The event saw over 100 lifejackets checked over from 35 sailing club members over the course of Saturday.

Sea Safety advisor Dave Humphries told Burnham-On-Sea.com he was extremely pleased by the response from the club’s members.

He said: “The Burnham club members are very safety conscious. I am expecting the same level of response from Combwich Sailing club on Friday evening, when I am going to run a similar lifejacket check.”
