Burnham-On-Sea’s Mayor and Mayoress have this week been re-elected for a second year.
Michael Clarke and his wife Maria were chosen by councillors at a Town Council meeting on Monday evening (May 9th).
Cllr Bill Hancock was elected Deputy Mayor, while Cllr Paul Young is the Second Deputy Mayor for the coming year.
“Thank you for your confidence. It is a great honour to be chosen again – we’re both looking very much forward to a busy and active year ahead,” Michael told Burnham-On-Sea.com.
