The family of Mrs Joan Plested are sad to announce the loss of their mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who sadly passed away on New Years after a short illness at the age of 91.
Mrs Plested was a much loved and respected teacher at St Andrews School in Burnham during the 70s, 80s and 90s and will be greatly missed by her family and former pupils alike.
There will be a service to celebrate her life at Sedgemoor Crematorium on 2nd February at 12pm followed by a wake at the Ritz in Burnham.
