Part-time – 22 hours per week
Monday – Thursday 7.30am – Midday and Friday 7.30am – 11.30am
(some flexibility required for locking up out of hours)
Salary: Grade 3, SCP 10 –13, £26,835 – £28,163 per annumpro rata (£15,955 –£16,745 pro rata)
A new job opportunity has arisen to join the Estates Team as a Caretaker/Cleaner at Burnham-on-Sea and Highbridge Town Council.
We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and motivated individual who is committed to achieving high standards of repairs, maintenance and cleaning.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for our visitors and staff at the Town Council Offices and The Princess Theatre and Arts Centre, as well as being responsible for safety checks e.g. fire alarm testing.
This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. This is a physical role and will include moving of equipment, tables and chairs and operating the Theatres tiered seating.
Previous experience of being a key holder and an awareness of health and safety good practice is essential, alongside the ability to be flexible to meet the needs of the Council.
