Burnham-On-Sea pensioner’s theatre talks raise £1,000 for charity

-

A Burnham-On-Sea pensioner has raised £1,000 for charity by giving entertaining talks about his life on stage.

Brian Saunders has travelled many miles across the region, raising money by giving talks to groups and organisations about his 68 years of experience in theatre, both on and offstage.

Brian, who is a life member of Moose lnternational, is pictured presenting a cheque for £1,000 to the Jessie May Trust’s Helen Macklie, community and events officer.

This money will enable the charity to provide specialist ‘hospice at home care’ for terminally ill children.
