A busy Burnham-On-Sea road is closed for more than two weeks for roadworks.
Stoddens Lane is closed to all traffic for 19 days from September 10th onwards, confirmed Somerset County Council’s highways team, which has issued a temporary closure notice.
“The road will be closed from 10th September and is expected to last for 19 days to enable earthworks to be carried out in this road,” says a spokesperson.
“The closure will include weekends. Every effort will be made to keep the duration of this closure to a minimum to reduce any further disruption.”
