Burnham and Berrow golf club

A championship course in sandy dunes…

This idyllic 18 hole championship golf course is built into the sandy dunes at Berrow, near Burnham-On-Sea.

The course was founded in 1890, and the club’s first professional was five-time Open champion JH Taylor. Many stars of the game have played here over the years – and the Burnham and Berrow Golf Club regularly hosts a qualifier for the Open each July.

The Burnham and Berrow Golf Club course is challenging and incredibly fun. It boasts narrow, ravine-like valleys for fairways plus natural hollows and humps, plus tiny greens surrounded by deep bunkers.

How to get there
The course is one mile north of Burnham-on-Sea. From the town centre proceed along Berrow Rd (B3140). After one mile, just before the Texaco petrol station, turn left into St Christophers Way. The entrance to the Burnham and Berrow Golf Club course is at the end of the road. Click here for a map.
