Burnham-On-Sea Freemasons raise £2,750 for local charities at fundraising walk

-

Burnham-On-Sea Freemasons have raised £2,750 for local charities by holding a sponsored walk in the town at the weekend.

Over 20 members of the group pulled on their walking boots for the walk at Highbridge’s Apex Park on Saturday (May 18th).

John Chinn from the Freemasons told Burnham-On-Sea.com that the event had been a “huge success, raising £2,750 for local good causes.”

“Our members took part in a half marathon distance walk around Apex, taking in the River Brue towpath and seafront, or a shorter distance walk, and they raised a great sum for local charities. Our thanks go to local sponsors and supporters.”
