Residents of a seafront block of flats in Burnham-On-Sea have employed diggers to move tonnes of sand in an effort to protect their sea defences.
Atlanta Key residents were concerned about the build-up of sand at the front of their building at Maddock’s Slade.
So on Saturday, a contractor spent several hours shifting large quantities further down the beach, as pictured here, to expose the sea wall that protects the homes.
