Burnham Moose Lodge’s harvest supper raises £520 for charity

-

Over 80 Burnham Moose Lodge members and guests attended a harvest supper in Berrow on Saturday evening (September 7th).

The event, held in the Village Hall, saw salad and cold meat meals with baked potatoes and lashings of butter served up for the guests.

Entertainment was provided by local guitar vocalist Larry Bennett. A raffle and charity auction, conducted by brother Brian Saunders, concluded the evening, raising the grand sum of £527, to be distributed to the Moose-supported charities.

Lady President Rita Harris and Governor Brian Mudge thanked everybody for their support, and said the event had been another great success.
