Fire crews from Burnham-On-Sea rushed to a cottage in West Huntspill on Friday lunchtime (January 11th) amid reports of a chimney fire.
The crews were quickly on the scene in Withy Road (pictured) to extinguish the blaze at around 1pm.
There were initially concerns that the fire could spread to the roof of the property, although this fortunately did not happen.
