Fire crews were called to tackle a blaze in a home in Burnham-On-Sea on Friday evening (October 11th).
Two fire engines were sent to the property in Highbridge Road shortly before 6.30pm after the occupant reported thick smoke.
Crews found a tumble dryer had been on fire. They removed it to the open air and carried out an inspection before leaving duty of care with the owner.
