An air ambulance landed in Burnham-On-Sea on Sunday evening (May 5th) to help a patient after a medical emergency.
The yellow Dorset and Somerset air ambulance surprised residents by landing in a field next to the Winchester Road playing area at 5.00pm, as pictured here.
Paramedics onboard assisted an ambulance crew with a patient nearby and then returned to the aircraft shortly afterwards.
The helicopter lifted off without a patient onboard.
