A car careered into a shop window in the centre of Burnham-On-Sea this week after a motorist accidentally hit the accelerator pedal on her car.
Two shopfront’s windows and a brick panel were destroyed in the accident at Carpets and Flooring in Victoria Street, pictured here.
A shop spokeswoman told Burnham-On-Sea.com the motorist involved was “incredibly embarrassed and apologetic” and that there had been no injuries.
The business has since boarded up its windows to make the shop secure.
