The centre, based in Pepperall Road, has submitted a planning application to build a new single-storey extension on its south west elevation. FUN-loving pupils at King Alfred School have been taking part in a range of crazy events during the school's annual fundraising Rag Week. Sponsored fancy dress competitions and fundraising events have been held throughout the week in aid of several local charities. More than £3,000 was raised last year.
