New entrance to be created for Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council offices

-

Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge Town Council is set to introduce a new entrance to its Town Council offices in Jaycroft Road as part of plans to improve safety for visitors arriving by vehicle.

To provide a safer and more practical access point, a new entrance is being constructed on Mendip Way, with work due to begin on 18th May.

The project is expected to take around two weeks to complete.

During the construction period, the existing entrance on Jaycroft Road will remain open and fully operational, says the council.

This will ensure continued access for visitors, although parking on site will be limited while the works take place.

Updated signs will be installed once the new entrance is finished.

Pedestrian access to the offices will continue as normal via Jaycroft Road.
