Hundreds of pounds was raised for a children’s charity when a Burnham-On-Sea housing association held its annual summer fete on Saturday (September 12th).
Brilliant late summer sunshine attracted the crowds to Treasure Court in Berrow Road, where stalls, raffles and family entertainment were laid on, as pictured here.
Organiser Diane McMichael told Burnham-On-Sea.com: “The wonderful weather helped boost the crowds. We’ve had a good day and hope to have raised a decent sum for Starlight.”
Starlight Children’s Foundation aims to grant wishes for seriously ill children and provide stimulating programmes for them in hospital.
