The owner of this vehicle had a sinking feeling when he briefly got into difficulty on Burnham-On-Sea beach on Sunday (July 20th).
The Nissan 4×4 was retrieving a jet ski next to the town’s jetty when its front wheels sank into the mud, requiring a crowd of people to push it free, as pictured here. Fortunately, the vehicle was quickly freed.
It comes just days after a Vauxhall Frontera got stuck in mud on Brean beach and could not be rescued in time before the sea swamped it, as reported here.
