New Burnham-On-Sea history calendar unveiled for 2017
A new 2017 calendar featuring historical scenes of Burnham-On-Sea has gone on sale.
The ‘Memories of Burnham’ calendar includes 12 old scenes of the town from across the decades.
“These photos will stir plenty of fantastic memories,” organiser Sylvia Young told Burnham-On-Sea.com. “There’s been lots of interest and we have just a couple of hundred copies available to sell.”
“The photos include the seafront in the 1930s, St Andrew’s Church, the former Manor Gardens mini golf course, High Street, golf course and Marine Lake.”
The calendar is priced at £4.99 and is on sale now at Burnham’s tourist information centre with all proceeds going to BIARS, the community group that runs the centre.
